Innocens Validation Pipeline.
Bridging the gap between research and the bedside.
The vast majority of developed ICU-AI models remain within the testing and prototyping environment; only a handful were actually evaluated in clinical practice. A uniform and structured approach can support the development, safe delivery, and implementation of AI to determine clinical benefit in the ICU.
Don't let your research gather dust.
The process of deploying AI in healthcare involves four key steps. First, a standardized annotation is created by defining the disease or problem in line with industry consensus. Next, external validation is conducted by running the AI in the background while clinicians from partner hospitals complete annotations. If existing data is available, retrospective validation can also be performed. Following successful validation, the AI is integrated into the platform, and if necessary, a clinical trial is conducted to demonstrate clinical usefulness. Finally, technical documentation is prepared to obtain the CE Mark, enabling the AI’s release into the European market.
Multi-center validation has never been this easy.
There is hidden but clear unmet need for a method to validate AI applications at the bedside. There is extensive research on applying AI on time-series data, all tackling different diseases and complications, but almost none have been able show their performace on a full patient stay. These are the most relevant metrics for doctors and nurses and to show real-world usability. Our platform allows you to simplify the vaildation process, building a bridge between research and deployment.
